Gay/Straight Poll: Who’s Crying Now?

Readers,

Gay Guy and I were talking about men and crying today, and we need your help with some research for an upcoming post. It's completely anonymous, so no need to feel self conscious.

[10/20 update: Think we'll close the poll when we get to 50. Easy to do the math that way. And hey, can anyone send some lesbians our way? Just to fill the gaping hole in our readership demographics. Yikes.]

Not sure where this story is going, but I bet it will be good.

SG, GG? Are you willing to 'out' your selves on how often you cry?

Hmm very interesting results. Can't wait to see what you guys have to say. Also, what is going on in these people's lives that they are crying more than 30 times in a year? I'm pretty sure there have been years where I didn't cry at all...

I feel a challenge coming on.

What, are you going to make me cry? Again? I LIKE these pants... and this haircut!

Seriously, I mentioned this to you yesterday, and just thought our takes were interesting, and wanted to see what our readers thought. That's all I'll say until we have the results.

Okay, so where do we find the lesbians to round out your reader demographics?

Is there some special code we can tweet to draw them in???

BTW: I evidently cry too much. Must be the stress. Or the wine. Or the poverty...

Yikes.

I wasn't sure to vote in gay or straight female since I happen to be bisexual.

Well....define "crying." Do you mean getting teary-eyed and a lump in the throat, or a full on sob-into-the-pillow fest? To me, the former doesn't constitute crying, but the latter does.

For the record, my husband has no problem admitting to or being seen "crying" at movies, even chick flicks, lol.

I mean any time your tear ducts turn on for emotional reasons. Movies, real-life tragedy, loneliness, happiness, whatever.

As a Bisexual, I don't know which one to answer for... Straight or Gay...
