(Our Own!) Viral Video: The Gay Guy | Straight Guy Search Story

Remember when we praised the Google Superbowl ad as "hopeful" and "real"? [link] Well, now we have our own.

Not sure about hopeful and real. File it under "Huh?" and "Wha?"

Hope you enjoy...

--Gay Guy and Straight Guy

P.S. Music wise, that's SG on the drums and GG on the ukulele.

P.P.S. No it's not.

Good thing you added the P.P.S. or I would've believed you.

What do you think SG, gullible or knowledgeable?

Nice ad-I was sort of surprised by the comparison of what came up when "gay guys" and "straight guys" were typed in. LoL

I'm still waiting for the NPR Morning Edition interview with GG/SG - please, no This American Life. Ira Glass bugs the snot out of me.

SIU:

You have have SG sing you one of our original tunes: "Ira Glass: Straight Guys Can Sound Gay, Too."

Words by GG, Music by SG.

It's a chart topper.

I love it! And it's true! I didn't meet him, but 12 years ago he visited my to do a story on John Coltrane. He's married to Terry Gross, who my boss loves - she kept raving about Terry, to his great annoyance. Maybe This American Life was new, but she neither knew nor cared who Ira Glass was.

It's still not Morning Edition without Bob Edwards. Can we get him to do the interview?

We all know the end game here is the multi-million dollar sitcom deal, where we own the name, but do very little of the work.

Oh! I LOVED this! It's so...professional and upbeat. I would like to order one GG/SG ring tone...one t-shirt and aw, hell...throw in a magnetic car decal while you're at it.

You guys ROCK.

Thanks everyone. I wish I could take more credit for the production value, but google/youtube made this easy. We just had to find the search terms and pacing that made the most sense.

Give it a try if you want.
