Things That Make You Go Ughhh

Gay Guy,

You really can't blame straight guys for the pet-costuming phenomenon featured in my last post.

But, feel free to take straight guys to task for this: thisiswhyyourefat.com/

Why can't I ever find anything wrapped in cookie dough and deep fried? Yet there's sushi three blocks either way. Unfair.

I didn't go to the link, but I can't decide if the photo made me want to hurl...or go make a sandwich.

Sad thing is, I had a toasted bacon sandwich with two kinds of cheese just the other day for lunch. So I can't blame you straight guys.

Mmmmmm. Cheeeeeeeeese.

We share blame for this one equally, Straight Guy.

Fat & grease grilled between two pieces of carbs - the common bond between straight and gay men!

The sloppy joe on a krispy creme doughnut made me throw up a little in my mouth. I'd like to believe that no-one on either coast would ever touch this garbage...I suppose that makes me sound a bit snooty, eh?

Well Jamie and John, if that's the case, then a stereotype is broken. But when I see scraggly state fair employees pushing this stuff (where else can you find fried oreos and twinkies?), I'm not getting a hit on my low-wattage gaydar from them. Beyond that, I'll just have to watch Gay Guy try to eat the donut-sloppy-joe and make a call from there.

I know there are always exceptions, but I think GG fits the profile in that he eats with a certain precision ruled out by some of these concoctions. Fork and knife? Not allowed!

I once described a beer-battered Hungry Man dinner I had recently consumed, and he had to hold onto his chair.

Eh, we're talking about eating the food not selling it. Temptation for junk food knows no boundaries as far as sexual orientation goes.

Btw, a question for both of you: When you both have gone out together, has SG ever been hit on by any gays or GG ever been hit on by any straight women? If so, what were your reactions?

Note to Jamie:

I think there is probably a difference between your recent lunch, even if it had 2 kinds of cheese, and this architecturally disturbing and unstable pile of indigestion.

I am not certain if it is the fat content or the generally gloppiness that scares me most.

I just went through the contacts list on my cell phone, and there is only one gay man there who I think would willingly eat one of the sandwiches.

Oh dude. If Andy saw this, our entire weekend would be given over to food indiscretion. Heck, maybe it will be anyway...

That picture still grosses me out.
