Gay/Straight Ad Watch: What Noise?

Source unknown.

He makes a compelling case, no?

Why can't a guy get a blind date and recover from elective brain surgery at the same time?

GG, Readers, what could this sound be? I can't imagine. Does "noise" = "showtunes from Cabaret"?

Good lord. This man may quite possibly have some sort of mental illness. I can see absolutely no correlation between making any sort of noise and your sexual orientation.

It sounds like he's been teased...like middle-schoolers do to each other...

Being the extreme dork that I am, I actually Googled "Gay Noise." According to Urban Dictionary it's "Anything that happens out of the ordinary that really throws you off or really doesn't make sense."

Crazy Ass Personal Ad. Gay Noise.

1) I don't know what gay noise means, for sure. I suspect it is the elongated version of "Girrrll."

2) I suspect that this guy's personal ad with draw a positive response faster than any ad that I put up.

GG, Have I told you about/ bought you the book, "They Call Me Naughty Lola: Personal Ads from the London Review of Books"? Hilarious. This ad wouldn't make it to the quarterfinals.

Thanks everyone,

I hope I wasn't too mean in posting this. I agree that mental illness is a factor, but couldn't let the homophobic paranoia pass...

Years ago, GG sometimes used to read (and gently explain) the personals from the edgy weekly to me on our lunch hour. I miss those days...

Unless the noise is, "I love dick", I wouldn't think it would be a problem, but I know a couple of tourette's kids, and there are times they spout off with words, not just noises. Maybe it's "f*ck my *ss"?
