Gay/Straight Viral Video: Sneaky Gays

You know I'm a Gleek -- a geek who loves Glee. This clip shows you why.
Glee resurfaces the utter awfulness that is high school everywhere, including or especially, my own high school. It puts every kind of different (gay, disabled, neurotic, just plain messy) front and center. It even has great music and dance. What more could TV offer?
Back to the clip. Jane Lynch plays Sue Sylvester, vainglorious coach of the cheerleading squad -- deliciously named the Cheerios. Sue has a regular spot on local TV. She cluelessly takes on the wrong side of every politically correct issue in the book. Here she is on "sneaky gays."
I laughed so hard watching this segment. Now I gotta go "swish it up a bit."
Lynch is brilliant and she somehow plays Sue Sylvester with a straight face. If you go to the Glee site, be sure to click on her remake of Madonna's "Vogue," with a few Glee-specific references.

Yes, sneaky is good. I can understand Sue's problem. I mean who would have guessed the homophobic CA State Rep., Roy Ashburn liked guys unless he had been pulled over... And who would have known that geriatric US Senator, Larry Craig, was gay if it wasn't for his hankering to toe tap in public restrooms.... Geesh.. that is so 1990s (just ask George Michael).
Oh, GG....I just loved this clip! It's because of YOU that I found GLEE (although, I'd like to think I'd have eventually discovered it on my own) but you'd tweeted how great it was after the season premier. I was hooked...and I've never looked back. And you're right...Glee's got something for everyone...it's da best.

I actually saw a bit of Glee Thursday night - it was the Vogue episode. Jane Lynch is a freakin' genius, more so as the queen of Sneaky Gays. Does she just play a lot of lesbians and potential lesbians or is she? But she seems so serious...i can't tell! Swish it up, Jane, you're confusing me!!!
