Straight Guy,
Here's an interesting opinion piece from today's Washington Post about Scott Brown's victory in yesterday's special election to fill the Massachusetts senate seat held by the late Ted Kennedy.
As you and everyone else learned this winter, Brown modeled his way through college -- successfully I would add, considering he was Cosmo's "America's Sexiest Man," centerfold staple and all, in 1982. If you haven't gotten your fill of the photo, here it is. (Nice wrist, Scott.)
The Post article questions whether it would be fine if Brown's challenger Martha Coakley had nearly naked photos floating around. Probably not, says the Post, just stating what we all already know.
Not gay, not straight, but we talk a lot of stereotypes and gender roles here, so it's interesting.

Personally I don't care, but it is interesting what the fallout would have been if the woman had photos floting around.
Thanks to iPhones, sexting, and social media, everyone will pictures floating around. The story will be when there is no known evidence of a candidate ever having been photo'd with her/his clothes off.
A woman with a hand over her areolas and half of her bush showing in a photo published in a medical journal wouldn't have made it past the drudge report's first whif of them tossing her hat in the ring.
That's because when a woman poses in the nude, she's considered by many to be a slut.
I don't believe there is a word at all for the male-version.
It's funny you brought this up. I saw a site today where you can buy letters (like to spell out your name, etc.) with these nude figures draped over each letter....by some designer I hadn't heard of. They were all buxom females...I found myself thinking, "But, what about US?"
Joe Kennedy is quoted in the Boston Globe today as regretting his decision to not run for the Senate seat. He's a great guy who does a lot of work for families in Boston and I'm hoping he runs in a couple years when Teddy's former seat is up for re-election.
I've been reading articles related... but I couldn't understand the main point behind all this issue. Most of the people which read this same blog can support my version.
