A Healthy Exchange, Minus the Change Part

Is this at all ironic that this decision from the Anglicans is coming out on a Sunday. You know, being the Lord's Day and all.

You'd think with a rapidly declining population these folks would be recruiting. Ooops, "recruiting", bad word choice.

Never on a Sunday. . . . .

I was going to say "Who cares about the Anglicans?," because I don't know any. Then I looked it up and saw that there are 77 million of them.

So where are they? I don't know of any either....maybe we're not looking hard enough...

Remember, US Anglicans are Episcopalians - ring any bells nows? I know a bunch, including a few who met Gene Robinson back before he became bishop. It's a bit like the Roman Catholics - there are plenty of "good Episcopalians" who don't feel the Archbishop, like the Pope, speaks for them. it's not just conservative churches splitting off or liberal churches electing gay bishops, it's the rank and file members trying to sort out what they believe...like every other denomination. The Lambeth Conference can issue whatever it wants but the clergy knows they'll still have to deal with it at the grassroots level. "So explain to me again why GG's going to Hell, 'cause I'm still not following it."

I don't mind going to hell, really I don't.
