Okay, what's Twitter? For context: I own a cell phone that can only make phone calls - define all terms in explanation.
Twitter is a form of minimalist blogging. The limit is 140 characters per tweet. But it can easily be done from a cell phone, too. Networked Twitterers may have dozens of followers who share updates with each other. Interesting people have interesting tweets (a twitter post). Boring people... meh. So far I'm not hooked. Just an experiment.
Each tweet asks "What are you doing?" But hopefully some of our answers have been broader than that.
To clarify: Twitter itself isn't gay; Twitter as a word sounds gay. Unless you are a songbird, then it's for everyone.
Straight songbirds everywhere thank you for clarifying.
