Might I add......unless you are in an established relationship, gay or straight, its lame to take just-a-date to a wedding/ceremony/reception. Receptions are expensive for the couple. If you can't go to a reception singly and walk up to others and say "Hey, I'm Bill. How do you know the couple?" you're a loser.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7373422984752547454.post-23831643858616255262009-05-30T18:49:39.258-04:002009-05-30T18:49:39.258-04:00Don't even get me started on the garter toss &...Don't even get me started on the garter toss & bridal bouquet toss. PDA's are best left for the bride & groom...on their day, anyway.kathrynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06152568985075401447noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7373422984752547454.post-75582897020258496672009-05-29T22:50:44.025-04:002009-05-29T22:50:44.025-04:00I scrolled the recent posts from bottom to top...s...I scrolled the recent posts from bottom to top...so, I went from some old weird dude pitching a toilet seat to a very relevant, insightful discussion that probably impacts a lot of folks on both sides of the orientation aisle. Y'all never cease to amaze me.

GG's last sentence of advice holds true for anyone, anywhere, anytime. I can't count the number of weddings where I hid in the bathroom/ the parking lot/ on the balcony to avoid the garter toss. I was single, inept, not gettin' any, and had no prospects of gettin' any - why put me on public display and make it even more obvious?Straight in Upstatenoreply@blogger.com
